The price of high oleic soybean oil is competitive with other high stability alternatives. Although there is a premium on high oleic soybean oil, similar to high oleic canola oil and over low stability base oils, it will continue to decline to as the volume increases. Transportation costs for high oleic soybean oil are more favorable than imported alternatives and will continue to decline as domestic availability increases.
