New Harps Food Store is coming to Brookland – NEA Report

Brookland-area residents will soon be able to shop at a new location, a news release revealed Tuesday. A new Harps location will soon be built in Brookland.

BROOKLAND, AR – Harps Food Stores, Inc. announces the purchase of the land at 8107 Highway 49 North, with the intention of building a new Harps Food Store.

The new 32,000 square foot Harps store will offer residents of Brookland and the surrounding community a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as Harps Black Angus beef, all-natural pork and poultry; delicious signature deli and baked goods as well as well-stocked grocery, health and beauty, dairy and frozen sections.

Due to nationwide building material shortages, no opening date has been set at this time.

Harps is a 100% employee-owned company that operates 135 stores in four states: Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. Harps is the largest employee-owned company in the state of Arkansas. Harps was founded by Harvard and Floy Harp in Springdale, Arkansas in 1930. Since then the business has grown to employ over 6,900 associates.
