Red Clay Hot Sauce is seeking a Director of Sales to focus on growing its independent wholesale and restaurant sales channels. The primary focus of this role will be to increase Red Clay distribution in the South region and velocity to existing retail partners, then secondarily to go beyond the South focusing on the main culinary cities of the country. This would involve both remote sales pitches (emails, calls, etc.) as well as in-person travel. This role would also assist or lead the team in selling Red Clay at select in-person events, markets, pop-ups, festivals and trade shows, primarily during the holiday season.

This role will help determine, develop and deploy a global strategy to sell Red Clay’s products and further grow its footprint and speed in the region. This will involve constant interaction with current distributors and retail partners, as well as bringing new key distributors online.

The candidate must be based in the South, with a preference for Charleston, SC. A first experience in sales is essential.
